Some people spend all day castigating themselves for not looking like somebody else. Worse they spend money on so much beauty supplies to correct the error they believe that Chineke made in creating them the way they are. They recoil at the comments insensitive people make about their “imperfections”.
Ever wonder what the world would be like if everything was perfect and full of “preferred” human beings…if the world is full of only Beautiful Women and Handsome Men… Tall People…Rich people…Happy People…Young People and so on. The way I see it, it would be a boring world! I mean how would you know that there are beautiful people without ugly ones? How would you know skinny folks without fat ones,? How would you know you are rich if there are no poor people? Happy people without sad ones? How would you know you are young without the “Old.”
The point I am making is that every “state of being” has a complement and every complement has a positive and negative component. Within these “states” are traits that give them the opposite appearance. Some of my “ugly” friends are the most beautiful in spirit…some of the poorest are the most giving…some of the shortest act with such human dignity they look taller than the tallest of beings. Some of the least religious are the most spiritual. Some of my friends who fall in the “Preferred” category…OMG…well lets not even go there!
The world owes a gratitude to the ugly/beautiful, the poor/generous, short/tall, old/young at heart, non religious/spiritual. They help to create the human tapestry that makes the world interesting, colorful, kind and humble… and they are “preferred” just the way they are!
Chineke took the time to craft us as manifestations of Spirit Energy, to be and to do! Even in our imperfections we radiate Chi! Move forward knowing that right where you are Chineke is…what’s not beautiful about that?
